Denmark is a strange place sometimes

Well, finally home after a long and interesting day. I've been at work the most of the day, but after that I spent the evening with three of my friends from the church. Firstly, we got something nice for dinner - a danish speciality flæskesteg, which is probably best described as "pork neck with rinds". After that, we went to rent some movies and buy some ice cream from ParadIS, which is probably best translated as ParadICE -- a fitting name.

Then we went home to watch "Dommeren", which is another fine example of a brilliant danish movie. Great acting, great story. Good handiwork on cameras etc.

All in all a good evening.

After all that was done, I went down to the station to catch the train home. When I was just getting on, the conductor of the train was busy getting someone to leave the train, and I soon found out why. When I entered the compartment right next to where I got on, I noticed the strong odour of Hashish. A few minutes after, I talked to the conductor, who told me he'd found out that someone was smoking hashish on the train, and then promptly removed him from the train. He also offered me that I could sit in the 1st class compartment, since the regular one was somewhat poluted.

So there I sat, on 1st class, with leather seats and all. Who said DSB isn't good for anything?
