The Muhammedan radicals issue
Once again, innocent bystanders and civilians are killed as the followers of Muhammad strike out against their percieved enemies -- in this case, everyone who happened to be near a falafel stall somewhere in Tel Aviv.
I think that it is quite evident that there's not going to be peace between the so called palestinians and the people of Israel – not ever.
Despite roadmaps for peace and the new Hamas "government"'s peaceful attitude towards Israel since the election, the very existance of Israel continues to be an affront to the most radical followers of Muhammad.
So, while people around the world hope and pray for peace in the middle east. Even the pope thinks that the "palestinians" should have a country to call their own.
I think we are missing the point here. No amount of sovereignty, wealth or power is ever going to satisfy the Muhammadan radicals, as long as the state of Israel continues to exist. No roadmap is ever going to change the fact that many different groups lay claim to the same real estate. For muslims, jew and christians alike, the holy land is part of deeply held beliefs, and cannot be traded for any temporal means.
So while the terrorist government of "Palestine" claims that terrorist actions are self defence, the world holds its breath, wondering how it's going to end.
It's no real mystery to me. I think the Israeli people are going to have to hold their own. Take up arms and defend their country -- like in 1967.
I trust God will save Israel from its enemies -- for as the bible says:
"The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever." (Isaiah 40:8)
