But it doesn't taste like fish…

So, today, I've been out eating sushi with my immediate boss, Asbjørn and another friend, who happens to own an IP-telephony-operator. So that's really interesting. It looks like I'm going to get a little work from them on the side, mainly the installation of phone systems for some of their customers, plus that I'm going to set up their website in drupal.

That aside, sushi ain't too bad. It's the second time I've had sushi, and I'm still not too crazy about the seaweed-contaminated rolls, but the fish is real good. But I'd still rather have something else.

Having a ball

I can hardly comprehend that it is no more than two weeks ago that I lived in a very small room with two other boys. Now I live in this big, wonderful house, stuffed to the brim with warm and friendly people – and I have a room of my, although not a very big one.

And my new job is very exiting. I've learned a lot this week, when it comes to accounting and the like. I really enjoy doing something thats mentally challenging for a change.

At a more personal level, I'm still trying to “unlock” my emotions. For years, the harsh realities of my life has caused me to lock away all emotion, good and bad.

The Muhammedan radicals issue

Once again, innocent bystanders and civilians are killed as the followers of Muhammad strike out against their percieved enemies – in this case, everyone who happened to be near a falafel stall somewhere in Tel Aviv.

I think that it is quite evident that there's not going to be peace between the so called palestinians and the people of Israel – not ever.

Despite roadmaps for peace and the new Hamas “government”'s peaceful attitude towards Israel since the election, the very existance of Israel continues to be an affront to the most radical followers of Muhammad.

Happy easter!

So, this is the day. Some 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ rose from the dead.

There are a lot of semi-pagan traditions related to easter. Easter eggs and easter bunnies, which I detest. I don't like how the days of celebration have been commercialized.

A thing I do find amusing, however, is easter eggs in software. They have no real relation to easter holiday, but are in fact hidden jokes implemented in software.

I've found a funny page with some examples of good software easter eggs – you can see it here.

About me

This is my page about me. My name is Mikkel Høgh. I’m 24 years old. I live in Ballerup, a suburb of Copenhagen - which is the capital of the nation of Denmark.

I am a web developer. I work for [Peytz & Co.][peytz] developing websites in [Drupal][].

I thing Drupal is one of the best things since sliced bread. I’ve been using a lot of different CMSs over the years, starting with the homegrown hacks I made after first learning PHP in 2002. Since then I’ve used [Fundanemt][], [Mambo][] and [Joomla!][joomla].

Welcome to revelation.dk
